Gaius-Lex is an AI platform built for legal work. It searches statutes and case law, analyses documents, drafts new ones, and answers legal questions with a verifiable citation behind every claim.
Agent Gaius runs the whole task. You describe the matter in whichever language you prefer. The Agent breaks the question into research stages, works out which sources apply, ties every thesis to a specific article, ruling or registry entry, and checks that each case signature exists in the database. Where a source cannot be confirmed, the Agent flags it. You receive a cited analysis and an editable draft: a pleading, a response, a client email or a comparison table.
The Agent works to the hierarchy of legal sources that applies in your practice, so an answer holds up in the context of the actual case. Legal databases are updated daily, which means an amendment that came into force yesterday is already in scope.
Your own files belong in the analysis too. Upload contracts, pleadings, regulations, scans or recordings – the platform runs OCR and transcription, reads them alongside public sources, and builds a knowledge base your team can reuse on the next matter.
Documents are processed only within the European Economic Area, encrypted in transit and at rest, and never used to train any model. Every file can be anonymised, automatically or by hand. Gaius Vault runs the full platform inside the firm’s own environment, for teams whose case files cannot leave the building.
Built for law firms, in-house legal departments, tax advisors and sole practitioners.
